Maybe it's time to try something new! I have been there many times myself and know what it feels like to feel blah. You want something new or a small gesture to lift your spirits.
I design for women who:

-Love handmade items that last and appreciate jewelry with a distinct design
-Like versatile jewellery that can be worn to a formal event or just out on the deck having a glass of wine with a friend
When I was a kid, I loved checking out all of my relatives' jewellery boxes. My first jewellery was made at 9 years old with colourful telephone wire that my father showed me how to fashion into rings. I have made many forms of jewellery since then, but it wasn’t until I signed up for a chain mail bracelet course in 2008, that I became hooked. I was at such a blah and meaningless time in my life and I know this sounds weird, but I could actually feel myself coming alive! So my newly found love of working with sterling silver began.
Both of my parents inspired me to create. I can remember sitting in the dining room at home, watching in awe as my father painted - thinking how the heck does he do that??
My love for creating led me to take fashion design courses at Fanshawe College. Other courses include chain mail, wire wrapping, silversmithing, and several colour training courses.
My base silver is purchased from Canadian suppliers. Beads and other findings are sourced from wherever I find cool, quality, detailed work in places such as Bali, Turkey, Thailand, Austria, Italy, Alberta (Canada), just to name a few!
In my travels, I have scoured many beaches in search of shells, coral, rocks, and sea glass. I have enough for hundreds of pieces. Although I probably won't create with them, the colors, shapes, and textures are fascinating. I think beach-combing in general lets your mind open up and lets the creativity wash in!
